Last updated: 12 October 2026
Tantrum Records is an independent label in Cardiff, Wales, run by Jason Le Gallois ("we", "us"). This policy explains what data we handle via tantrumrecords.net, our mailing list, and our "Tantrum Bot" YouTube API application. Contact: jasonofwales@gmail.com.
1. This website
The site is static. We do not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and time of request) for security and operation; we do not use these to identify you.
2. Mailing list
If you join our mailing list we collect your email address, used only to send news about Tantrum Records releases and events. Our lawful basis is your consent (UK GDPR). You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email or by emailing us. We use a third-party email service to store the list and send emails; it processes data on our behalf only. We never sell or share your address.
3. Tantrum Bot (YouTube API application)
"Tantrum Bot" is a private tool used only by the label owner to manage the Tantrum Records YouTube channel. It uses YouTube API Services to:
- read channel and video analytics (views, watch time, revenue reports) for the Tantrum Records channel;
- edit video metadata (titles, descriptions, tags and links) on that channel.
It is not offered to the public and does not access any other user's account or data. Access tokens and data retrieved are stored privately by the owner and used only for the purposes above. No data obtained through the YouTube API is shared, sold or transferred to anyone. By using YouTube features you are also subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. Access can be revoked at any time at Google security settings.
4. Retention
Mailing list data is kept until you unsubscribe. YouTube API data is kept only as long as needed to manage the channel and is deleted on request or when no longer needed.
5. Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, or object to its use, by emailing jasonofwales@gmail.com. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
6. Changes
We'll update this page if anything changes.
